🧼 How to clean a beeswax wrapper?

To clean the beeswax wrap, gently wash it with mild dish soap (without alcohol because it dissolves beeswax) in cold water. Avoid hot water or the dishwasher as this can wear the wax off. After cleaning, let it air dry or wipe it gently with a tea towel until it is completely dry for the next time you need to use it.

🐝 How is a beeswax wrap maintained?

Good maintenance ensures that your beeswax wrap lasts longer. With good maintenance, it can last for 1-2 years.
If the beeswax wrap begins to wear, you can repair it by using repair beeswax.

Remember to clean the material correctly. After some time, the beeswax may wear a little or lose its ¨adhesion', something that can be improved by using repair beeswax. All you need is an oven, baking tray, water bath, dough cutter or similar and repair beeswax.
